Yay! New car! (And I passed my test, so I can drive it too....)

Woo hoo.

Not only have I not screwed up setting up the wireless (which I'm currently using) but I've managed to get Beryl up and running too... now just to get the sound card working.... anyone got any ideas?

Sound Blaster Audigy 4 on Ubunty 6.10 Edgy... keep seeing ALSA links all over the place but nothing much of any use yet...

I've been playing.

I need to post this to remind myself where it is, when I go wrong again.

Broadcom wireless chips are arse. Shame they're in absolutely everything really.

Think that sums it up really. I haven't bothered updating, mainly because they blocked LJ at work. And I've been doing stuff too....

Hello!!

Very quick post to say two things really:

1) A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who's wished me a happy birthday/bought me cards/written in the cards other people have bought after I'd already opened them (comedy from Paul). Turning 24 isn't a big birthday but means I have a year to plan my 25th celebrations, so any ideas start now!

2) Haven't updated in a while. In fact, haven't updated in ages. My bad. Will make sure to get proper updates on here again, including photos and stuff.

If anyone's interested I'll also be sticking up a diary of the Land's End to John O'Groats bike ride I did with Nathan last May, including millions of photos and stuff. Will post more as and when.

Meanwhile, celebrations continue in Luton tonight with what has aptly been named "Bubblewrap Day" by Rach (the day following birthday in a Boxing Day kinda style. Yay basically.) So if you're out, shout.
